Das Design besticht durch einen dunkelblauen Grundton mit einem markanten geometrischen Muster, das auf einem sich wiederholenden Ajax-Wappen basiert. Rote und weiße Schulterstreifen, der rote AJAX-Schriftzug an den Seiten und ein Polokragen mit weißem Einsatz sorgen für einen starken Kontrast. Das Umbro-Logo prangt auf der Brust, neben dem Sponsorenlogo von ABN AMRO auf der Vorderseite.
