Das Design besticht durch einen roten Grundton mit feinen gelben Nadelstreifen, gelben Adidas-Schulterstreifen und farblich abgestimmten Paspeln an den Ärmeln. Das Adidas-Logo prangt mittig auf der Brust, gegenüberliegend das Wappen der spanischen Nationalmannschaft. Auf dem Rücken trägt David Villa seine große gelbe Nummer 21. Das Trikot mit Rundhalsausschnitt und ohne Sponsorenlogo spiegelt den schlichten Look der internationalen Trikots Mitte der 2000er-Jahre wider und ist bis heute ein begehrtes Retro-Trikot der spanischen Nationalmannschaft.
