Het Ajax-uitshirt 1997/98 (XL) is het marineblauwe uitshirt, geproduceerd door Umbro voor een zeestadion.
Het ontwerp kenmerkt zich door een donkerblauwe basis met in dezelfde kleur uitgevoerde Ajax-logo's, aangevuld met rode en witte details op de schouders en een rode graphic aan de zijkant met de tekst AJAX. Een verticaal ABN AMRO-sponsorlogo loopt over de voorkant, met het Umbro-logo tegenover het clublogo. Afgewerkt met een contrasterende knoopsluiting in de kraag, weerspiegelt dit Umbro Ajax-shirt de Nederlandse voetbaldesignstijl van eind jaren 90 en is het nog steeds een gewild vintage Ajax-shirt uit een dominante periode.
