Het Japanse thuisshirt 2004/06 (XL) is het blauwe adidas-thuisshirt dat het nationale elftal droeg tijdens een succesvolle periode midden jaren 2000, waaronder de overwinning op de AFC Asian Cup 2004 en de kwalificatie voor het FIFA WK 2006.
Het ontwerp kenmerkt zich door een effen blauwe basis met witte adidas-strepen op de schouders en een rode V-hals. Het embleem van het Japanse nationale team staat op de borst tegenover het adidas-logo, zonder sponsorlogo. Mesh zijpanelen zorgen voor ademend vermogen, typisch voor de functionele constructie van shirts uit het begin van de jaren 2000. Dit Japan-shirt uit 2004/6 wordt ook beschouwd als een gewild vintage Japan-shirt.
