Sunderland Away Shirt 2012/3 Player Issue Johnson #21 (XL) is an away kit from the club’s 2012/13 Premier League campaign, produced by Adidas during a season that saw Sunderland narrowly secure top-flight survival. This Sunderland shirt represents the period when Martin O’Neill was replaced by Paolo Di Canio late in the season as the club fought to remain in the Premier League.

The design combines navy and teal panels with a crew neck and contrast sleeve trim. Adidas branding appears on the chest with three stripes running along the shoulders, while the INVEST IN AFRICA sponsor dominates the front. Premier League patches sit on both sleeves and Johnson 21 appears on the back. The bold colour blocking makes this Sunderland 2012/13 jersey a notable Sunderland Adidas shirt from the early-2010s Premier League era.
