Ajax Away Shirt 1998/99 (XL) is an Umbro-made Ajax shirt from the 1998/99 Eredivisie season, produced as the club’s away kit during a difficult league campaign that still ended with success in the KNVB Cup. Ajax finished sixth domestically but defeated Fortuna Sittard 2–0 in the final to secure silverware.

The design features black shoulders and sleeves with a striking white central panel carrying the vertical ABN AMRO sponsor, finished with red piping accents. The Umbro logo appears on the chest alongside the Ajax crest, while the polo collar with V-neck insert reflects late-1990s styling. This Ajax Umbro shirt stands out as a memorable Ajax retro shirt from the era of late-1990s Dutch football.
