Shipment & delivery

When will my order be shipped?

All orders placed before 18:00 CET are shipped the same day from our office in Almelo, The Netherlands. Orders placed on the weekend are shipped the next working day.

What is the delivery time?
  • Netherlands, Belgium, Germany: 1–2 working days
  • France, Denmark, Austria: 2–4 working days
  • Italy, Sweden, Poland, Spain: 3–5 working days
  • United Kingdom, United States: 6–8 working days
  • Rest of the world: 7–15 working days
Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your delivery every step of the way.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Free shipping is automatically applied on orders above €100, no code needed.

Are customs or import fees included?

For orders shipped to the United States, customs duties are included in the price. For all other countries outside the EU, customs fees are not included and may apply, these are the buyer’s responsibility.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout based on your location.

My order seems delayed, what should I do?

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, it is most likely due to a delay with your local carrier. Check your tracking link first, it is included in your dispatch email.

If the tracking shows no movement for more than 5 working days, please contact us at support@first11shirts.com and we will look into it for you.

Ordering & payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as PayPal, Klarna, iDEAL, and other secure payment options.

Can I pay with Klarna?

Yes. Klarna is available at checkout, allowing you to pay later or spread the cost over instalments, depending on your location and eligibility.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through encrypted and secure payment gateways. We never store your card details.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Contact us as soon as possible before your order is dispatched and we will do our best to help. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be changed or cancelled, but you can return it within 14 days of delivery.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. You will receive an order confirmation email shortly after placing your order, followed by a dispatch email with your tracking details.

My discount code is not working, why?

The most common reasons a discount code does not work:

  • The code has expired, newsletter codes are valid for one month from the date they are sent.
  • The code has already been used, most codes are single-use.
  • The items in your cart are not eligible (e.g. sale items or Mystery Boxes may be excluded).
  • There is a typo, codes are case-sensitive, so copy and paste where possible.

If none of the above applies, contact us and we will help you out.

Do you offer gift wrapping or a personal note?

We do not currently offer gift wrapping. However, if you would like a personal note included with the order, just send us a message after placing your order, via WhatsApp, Instagram, or email, and we will add it for you.

Returns & exchanges

How can I return my order?

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery through your customer account. Netherlands customers receive a free return label. For international returns, the shipping cost is the buyer’s responsibility. See our full Return Policy for details.

Can I exchange a shirt for a different size?

As all our shirts are vintage and one-of-a-kind, we cannot guarantee direct exchanges. However, you are welcome to return your item and place a new order for the size you need.

What if the shirt does not fit?

If the fit is not right, you can return the shirt within 14 days of delivery, as long as it comes back in the same condition. If you would like exact measurements before buying, contact us and we will measure the shirt for you.

Are custom or requested items returnable?

Unfortunately, custom requests or specially sourced items, including shirts with a name set printed on request, are non-returnable unless they arrive faulty.

Who covers return shipping costs?

Return shipping is free for customers in the Netherlands. For international customers, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

My order arrived damaged or with the wrong item, what now?

Please contact us immediately with a photo of the item and your order number. We will evaluate the issue and make it right, either with a replacement, a refund, or another solution that works for you. Do not return the item before reaching out to us first.

What is a Mystery Box?

A Mystery Box is a curated selection of authentic football shirts chosen by our team. You choose a tier and we fill the box with shirts that match, it is a great way to discover pieces you might not have picked yourself, at a better value than buying individually.

Mystery Boxes come with our 100-day return policy, the only product in our store with an extended return window. All shirts inside are 100% authentic and go through the same quality check as everything else we sell.

Are your shirts authentic?

Yes. Every shirt we sell is 100% authentic and carefully checked by our professionals for originality, including labels, stitching, and manufacturer details.

How does the grading system work?

We grade every shirt as transparently and consistently as we can, so you know what to expect before you buy. Grading is always a little subjective, and opinions can differ. One collector might see a shirt as Excellent where another would call it Great. Use the grades below as a clear guide, alongside the photos and full description.

  • BNWT brand new with original tags attached, never worn, never washed.
  • Mint unworn or worn once, no visible flaws, colours vivid and fabric crisp.
  • Excellent lightly worn, any signs of wear are minimal and only visible on close inspection.
  • Great light to moderate wear, may have very minor fading or small marks, all listed in the description.
  • Very good moderate wear consistent with age, minor flaws present, all listed in the description.
  • Good visible wear and/or multiple minor flaws, still a solid display or casual wear piece.
  • Fair heavy wear or a significant flaw, priced to reflect condition, everything listed in the description.
How do vintage football shirts fit?

Vintage football shirts from the 1990s and early 2000s often fit differently from modern sizes, and tend to run slightly bigger. Sizing also varies by era and brand. If you would like the exact measurements of a specific shirt, send us a message before buying and we will measure it for you.

How do I wash my football shirt?

To preserve the quality and extend the lifespan of your shirt:

  • Wash inside-out on a cold, gentle cycle, or hand wash only
  • No tumble drying or bleach
  • Air dry naturally
  • Do not iron over prints, name sets, or badges

Machine washing at 30°C is possible, but may cause printed name sets and sponsor logos to wear out more quickly over time.

What do terms like Player Issue and L/S mean?
  • Player Issue made to the same spec as a shirt worn by players, higher quality than the retail version.
  • Match Issue prepared for a match but not necessarily worn, may have squad number or name.
  • Match Worn actually worn during a match, often has visible signs of use.
  • L/S long sleeve version of the shirt.
  • BNWT brand new with tags, original packaging, never worn.
  • Flock Print raised velvety lettering, common on 90s shirts, more premium than flat print.
  • Nameset a player’s name and number added to the back of a shirt.
How do I know when new shirts will be available?

We announce all new drops on our Instagram and through our newsletter. Follow us and subscribe to be the first to know, we aim to do at least 2 drops a month with 150+ new shirts each time.

Can I request a specific player or club?

Yes! If you are looking for a specific player, club, or era, feel free to get in touch and let us know. We will do our best to find it.

Can I see more photos or get exact measurements before buying?

Yes, of course. If you would like to see more photos or need exact measurements before purchasing, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.

Can I sell my own shirts to you?

We occasionally buy authentic vintage football shirts. If you are interested in selling, feel free to contact us with clear photos and details and we will get back to you.

Do you restock sold-out items?

Due to the vintage nature of our products, most items are one-of-a-kind and will not be restocked. If you are looking for a specific item, contact us and we will let you know if we can source it.

Can I visit the showroom in Almelo?

Yes! To schedule a visit you can book one on the visit our showroom page or send us a WhatsApp.

Do you attend events or pop-ups?

Yes, we regularly attend football events and pop-ups across Europe. We announce all upcoming appearances on our Instagram and in our newsletter. Follow us so you do not miss the next one.

What is the best way to contact you?
