Celtic Centenary Home Shirt 1987/91 (L) is a late‑1980s home kit produced by Umbro during a memorable period for the club in the Scottish Premier Division. This Celtic shirt relates to the centenary era around the 1987/88 season, when the club celebrated 100 years by winning the league and Scottish Cup double. The design was worn across the late 1980s before a new home kit arrived for the 1989/90 campaign, making it strongly associated with Celtic’s centenary celebrations.
The shirt features classic green and white horizontal hoops with a tonal diamond pattern running through the green bands. A CR Smith sponsor appears across the front, with the Umbro logo opposite the Celtic club crest. It also includes a green and white henley-style collar with a button fastening and short sleeves. The look reflects late‑80s Scottish football design and remains a sought‑after Celtic retro shirt, often recognised as a classic Umbro Celtic jersey from the club’s centenary period.
