The 2015/16 season was a challenging one for Chelsea, as they struggled to replicate their title-winning form from the previous campaign. Despite starting the season as defending champions, the club finished in 10th place, leading to the departure of manager José Mourinho. Eden Hazard rediscovered his form towards the end of the season, but it was not enough to save a disappointing year for the Blues.
