Het Duitse thuisshirt 1996/98 (maat S) is het klassieke witte thuistenue dat het nationale team halverwege de jaren 90 droeg en dat geproduceerd werd door Adidas.
Het ontwerp kenmerkt zich door een witte basis met opvallende graphics aan de voorkant en drie zwarte strepen over de schouders en mouwen. De kraag met knoopsluiting is afgewerkt met biezen in zwart, rood en geel, de nationale kleuren, terwijl het Adidas-logo centraal staat met het embleem van de Deutscher Fussball Bund op de borst. Zonder sponsorlogo en met een strakke, internationale uitstraling is dit retro T-shirt in Duitse stijl perfect.
