Het West-Duitse thuisshirt 1988/90 (L) is een klassiek Duits shirt, geproduceerd door Adidas en gedragen tijdens het Europees Kampioenschap van 1988 en de succesvolle aanloop naar het WK van 1990. Dit thuisshirt vertegenwoordigt een bepalende periode eind jaren 80 voor het nationale elftal, waarin sterke toernooiprestaties werden gecombineerd met een ontwerp dat onlosmakelijk verbonden raakte met het West-Duitse voetbal.
De witte basis wordt aangevuld door een opvallend zwart, rood en geel geometrisch chevronpatroon over de borst en mouwen, met Adidas-logo en het nationale wapen als finishing touch.
